John Keith Haraway, 51, died on Sunday, October 8, 2017 at his home in Florence. He was born June 11, 1966 to John and Taska Haraway (Florence). He attended Bradshaw High School, and later graduated from R.E.T.S. Electronics Institute in Birmingham, Alabama.
Keith was a very talented musician and artist. He loved to share this with all near to him.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 10, at Greenview Funeral Home in Florence. Visitation will be from 2pm until 4pm, with services to follow.
Officiating will be Reverend Robert Sparkman of First United Methodist Church in Florence. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Troy Haraway, John Sledge, John Williams, Rex Rikard, Greg Butler, and Anthony Wallace.
Keith is preceded in death by his father, John A. Haraway.
He is survived by his mother, Taska Haraway; Daughter, Ashley N. Haraway; Spouse, Peggy Buchard; Sister, Claudia Handel (Jason); Grandmother, Claudia Travis; Nieces, Emma, Allie, and Kate Handel along with aunts, uncles, cousins and many many friends.
