Jane Johnson Pride, 77, of Florence, passed away September 30, 2017 at E.C.M. Hospital after a short illness. She was born in Chattanooga, TN on May 21, 1940.
Visitation will be Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 5-9 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, October 5, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. Eastern Time in Hamilton Memorial Gardens, Chattanooga, TN with Rev. Clinton Green officiating.
Mrs. Pride was preceded in death by: husbands, Douglas David Chauncey (1973), Hugh W. Pride (2008); sons, Douglas C. Chauncey (1992), Hugh W. Pride, Jr. (2004); and a daughter, Lori C. Soule (2008).
She is survived by daughters, Aleesha C. Allen (Doug) of Hillsboro, OH, Martha Pride (Pam) of Seattle, WA; and grandsons, James “Pete” D. Allen (Lori) of Rockwood, TN, Lee Smith (Melissa) of Lake Mary, FL, and Matthew L. Allen (Amanda) of Bridgeport, AL; and 11 great-grandchildren.
