Ernest Calvin Whitten

Ernest Calvin Whitten, 91, of Florence, died June 13, 2018 at Mitchell Hollingsworth Nursing and Rehab Center.  
Visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home from 1-2 p.m. on Saturday, June 16, 2018. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Charlie Meek officiating. Burial will follow in Stony Point Cemetery. 
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Wilkes Whitten; parents, Early and Myrtle Whitten; brothers, Edward and Leland Whitten; and sister, Myrtle Thompson. 
Survivors include his sisters, Grace Gautney and Bessie England. 
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
