Mr. Harris was a great person who had a tremendous influence on my life. I will never forget all the words of encouragement he gave me over the years. Even in his last days when I came to see him, he told me he was proud of me. I am forever grateful to my heavenly father above for allowing me to not only be able to call him my boss, but my friend. May God Bless and keep you close to HIM and give comfort and peace to those who are waiting here to join you in your new heavenly home. Rest in peace dear friend.

I am so saddened by the loss of Don. He was a good man and wonderful educator. His quick wit and smile always made others comfortable. May God bless his family with strength, hope, and wonderful memories.

Lovely Family!
I am broken hearted for you. Don was truly a great man. It is rare these days to meet a man that is a good husband, a good father, and a Godly, foundational part of any community. Don was all three. He, as were you, have been a huge part of my life and some of the best years of my life. You look back at your life and remember the best times and y'all always come to mind. It was an honor to know Don. The world lost one of the best. I love you guys so much and pray for peace. Just remember that he is gone from this world...but we will all be reunited with him soon. And what wonderful days to come, all part of a heavenly family.

We loved Don so much! He loved our children at Forest Hills and it was always a treat to see him out and get to visit with him!!! He truly was a wonderful person!!! We will keep you all in our prayers!
