Catherine Jenkins, 77, of Florence, passed away on November 14, 2017 at Mitchell Hollingsworth.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Vivian Herring and four siblings.
She loved her family dearly and we will each hold special memories of our mother and forever miss her sweet heart and beautiful smile.
Survivors include her daughters , Selina Burgess (Joey) of Greenhill, AL, Tracey Woods(Glenn) of Auburn, AL and Betsy Howard (John) of Center Star, AL; brother, Harold Herring of Russellville, AL; twin sister, Carolyn Epperson of Homewood, Al; grandchildren, Emily Thigpen and Caroline Brown both of Greenhill, AL, Alex Woods of Birmingham, AL, Merry Morgan Woods and Harrison Woods both of Auburn, AL, James and Catherine Howard both of Center Star, AL and great-grandchildren, Dawson and Hudson Thigpen both of Greenhill, Alabama.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to Amedisys Hospice and our mother’s hospice nurse, Mrs. Heather Hill, and Mitchell-Hollingsworth Staff.
