Albert Ray Jefferies

Albert Ray Jefferies, 69, of Florence, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2024, at North Alabama Medical Center. Mr. Jefferies was retired as a flagman with Norfolk Southern Railroad.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 21, 2024, from 12-2:00 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home.  The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Greenview Memorial Park. Officiating will be Caleb Chambers.

Mr. Jefferies was preceded in death by his parents, Hosie and Louise Jefferies; and brothers, Daniel and Kenneth Jefferies.

He is survived by the mother of his children, Renee Jefferies; his sons, Jeremy and Justin Jefferies; daughter, Brittney Jefferies; sister, Mary Jefferies Newell; grandchildren, Carleah Smith, Isaac Jefferies, Cayden Carter, Devon Carter, Cassidee Jefferies, and Logan Jefferies; great grandchildren, Kingston Smith and Khloe Gandy.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
