Wanda June Butler Lindsey, 72, of Florence, passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014 at her residence. She was a member of Underwood Baptist Church. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She also loved her work and traveling.
Visitation will be held Monday, October 27, 2014 from 6 – 8 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Tuesday, October 28, 2014 at 2 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Pisgah Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and Christine McDaniel Butler; and twin granddaughters.
She is survived by her husband, Cleadus Lindsey; son, Donnie Lindsey (Rhonda) of Robertsdale, AL; daughters, Connie Denton (Mark), Rhonda Bryant (oldest daughter); brother, Scotty Butler (Pam); sister, Joyce Moore (Billy) all of Florence; grandchildren, Tim May, Lindsey Stricklin (James), Will Denton (Kara), Connor Lindsey (Lauren), Ashlyn Lindsey; great-grandchildren, Bryson, Brenton, and Braylee Stricklin, Molly Lindsey.
Active pallbearers will be Will Denton, Connor Lindsey, James Stricklin, Billy Moore, Keith McDaniel, Dewayne Ringlestin, and Mike Chaney.
Honorary pallbearer will be Tim May (oldest grandchild).
