Trella (Townsley) Patterson

          Trella Townsley Patterson, 40, of Florence, passed away on July 19, 2017 at Eliza Coffee Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Stony Point Church of Christ, and Shoals Community Theatre. She was a caterer at Jill’s Sweet Memories and a substitute teacher at Central High School, while she also worked at McGee Farms. Trella also held the three point record at Mars Hill Bible School for many years.

          Visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home on Saturday, July 22, 2017 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. The funeral will be at Stony Point Church of Christ on Sunday, July 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m., Brad Adcock will be officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.

          She was preceded in death by her sister, Tyra Townsley; Grandparents, Lloyd and Lucille Townsley, and Nolen and Juanita Statom. Her mother-in-law, Gertrude Patterson; and her aunt, Martha Ann Stults.

          Survivors include her husband, Donald Ray Patterson, daughter, Malia Donya Patterson, and son, Makinley Donray Patterson. Her mother, Kay Robbins, and step father, Bobby Robbins; Father, David Townsley, and step mother, Bettie Townsley, and sister, Tonita Roberson. Step daughters are Dawneshia Patterson, LaDonna Doxie, and LaTiffany Stephenson.

          Serving as pallbearers will be Drake Roberson, Payton Roberson, Brian Fisher, Chris Patterson, T.J. Patterson, and Brent Patterson.
