Mr. Thomas T. Tidwell, Jr. 85, of Florence passed away on July 15, 2016 at his residence. He was a United States Army Veteran and a member of Mars Hill Church of Christ. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #14 and Boilermakers union. He loved his church, family, friends and his dog Buddy.
Visitation will be Sunday, July 17, 2016 at Greenview Funeral Home from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 18, 2016 at Mars Hill Church of Christ with Chris Moran officiating. The casket will be placed in the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Elgena Tidwell; his parents; 3 sisters and 2 brothers.
Survivors include his daughters, Gwen Turner of Ohio and Rhonda Frame of Tennessee; son, Randy Tidwell of Ohio; grandchildren, Sam and Andy Quattrochi of Tennessee; 3 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
