Thomas Edward Clemmons

Thomas Edward Clemmons, 86, of Florence, passed away January 25, 2018 at UAB Hospital. He was the owner of Pump Repair and Sales Company.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 6-9 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Monday, January 29, 2018 at 11 a.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Garry Gooch and Harrison Chastain officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

Mr. Clemmons was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Doyce Marie Richardson Clemmons; parents, Louie and Algie Clemmons; sister, Louise Warren (Dotson); brothers, James Clemmons (Estella), Delmar Clemmons (Lorna), and Kelsie Clemmons (Claudia); sister, Elsie Butler (Vernon); and infant sisters, Fanny and Ila Clemmons.

He is survived by his son, Dr. Charles E. Clemmons of Athens; brother, Lloyd “Bill” Clemmons (Mary) of Florence; and sister, Charlotte Bretherick (Ben) of Florence; and many loving nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be nephews, Cory Brooks, Aaron Clemmons, Bruce Clemmons, Greg Clemmons, Chris Bretherick, and Perry Bretherick.
