Robert Howard Joiner, 71, of Florence, passed away May 15, 2017 at his residence. He was a member of Cornerstone Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Thursday, May 18, 2017 from 7-9 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Friday, May 19, 2017 at 2 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Kelly Crotts officiating. Burial will follow in Central Community Cemetery.
Mr. Joiner was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Mary Palmer Joiner; sisters, Betty Frances Joiner, Christine Joiner Montgomery, and Lorene Joiner Baskins.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Stanfield Joiner; sons, Rob Joiner (Nancy), Keith Joiner (Brandy), Chuck Joiner (Danielle); sister, Barbara Joiner Moomaw; grandchildren, Benji Joiner, Zac Joiner, Haylee Joiner, Hannah Joiner, Dylan Hallmark, Seth Joiner, Baylee Joiner, Colton Joiner, Zackary Vines; and one great-grandchild, Sawyer Kate Joiner.
Active pallbearers will be: Benji Joiner, Zac Joiner, Seth Joiner, Dylan Hallmark, Haylee Joiner, and Hannah Joiner.
Colton Joiner, Baylee Joiner, and Zackary Vines will serve as honorary pallbearers.
