Raymond Hayse Jeffreys, 80, of Florence, passed away on August 05, 2017 at his home. He retired from Times Daily after 39 years of dedicated service.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 08, 2017 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 1:00 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Travis and Hazel Jeffreys, Doris Terry Jeffreys, wife of 51 years ; brothers, Norman and Gary Jeffreys; sisters, Verna Craig and Helen Taylor; and sons-in-law, Leroy Hall and Alan Waugh.
Survivors include his son, Anthony H. “Tony” Jeffreys (Myra); daughters, Janet Jeffreys Hall, and Karen Jeffreys Farmer (Dean); brother, Allen Jeffreys; grandchildren, DeAnna Waugh and Daniel and Ryan Hall and great-grandson, Braxton Hall.

Serving as pallbearers will be Daniel Hall, Ryan Hall, Dean Farmer, Jason Taylor, Mike Roberts and Roger Cromwell.
Serving as an honorary pallbearer will be Braxton Hall.
