Phyllis Denise Abernathy

Phyllis Denise Abernathy, 56, of Florence died Thursday October 23, 2014, at ECM Hospital.  A visitation will begin at 10am today at Greenview Funeral Home followed by a memorial service at 11am in the funeral home chapel.

She was born in Florence to the late R. H. Abernathy and Dorothy Scott Duncan.  Survivors are her children, George Quinones, Jason Quinones, Jazzmen Tamayo Velez (all  of Cleveland, Ohio), Ariana Machado and Julianna Machado both of Florence; sisters, Macel Bohannon, Killen and Melissa Readence, Florence; eight grandchildren; her special buddy, Harley Gray.
