Mary Edna Linville Watkins, 86, of Florence, passed away April 4, 2017 at E.C.M. Hospital after an extended illness. She was a member of Hendrix Chapel Church of Christ.
Visitation will be Saturday, April 8, 2017 from 10-12 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 12 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Wayne Wood officiating. Burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery.
Mrs. Watkins was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Perry “Junior” Watkins; parents, David and Madgie Linville; brothers, Broadus Hines, Jim, William “Bud”, Thomas, and Johnny Linville; sister, Lena Mae Lawson; and a daughter-in-law, Debbie Watkins.
She is survived by her sons, Robert Watkins, and Anthony Watkins (Kathy); daughters, Donna Parker (Fay), and Paula Stevenson (Keith); grandchildren, Kayla Broadfoot (Brad), Caitlin Wilcoxson (Jason), Eli Watkins, and Jacob Stevenson; step-grandchildren, Lisa Orrick (Stevie), and Preston Parker (Tara); great-grandchildren, Ryder Broadfoot, and Brentlyn Watkins; step-great-grandchildren, Addi and Easton Broadfoot, Ryan Orrick, Deidre Kelly, Molly Carmack, Morgan Minor, and Campbell Parker; and special cousin, Ruth Carson.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to caregivers, Teresa Lowe, Beth Warren, and Sherry Adams, and to Dr. Brown and Dr. Abusaid and their staff and all her caregivers on 3rd floor at ECM and Mitchell Hollingsworth Rehabilitation Center, especially Stevie Davis.
