Mrs. Lucy Wesson Cabaniss, 83, of Florence, passed away on August 21, 2016. She was a member of St. James United Methodist Church and she retired from Parisian Department Store.
Visitation will be Wednesday, August 24, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral will begin at 1:00 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Bart Bowlin officiating. Burial will follow in Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Elroy Cabaniss; parents, Fay and Verna Wesson; brothers, Jim Wesson, Jabus Wesson (twin) and Sam Wesson.
Survivors include her son, Reverend James Roy Cabaniss and wife, Ruth Mills Cabaniss; daughter, Elizabeth Cabaniss Moore and husband, Sam Moore; brother, Vance Wesson; sisters-in-law: Dot Wesson, Rhea Wesson, Judy Wesson, Betty Cabaniss, JoAnne Cabaniss and Barbara Stratton; grandchildren, Rachel Cabaniss Fowler and husband , Keith Fowler, Nathan Cabaniss and Dan Moore .
