Juanita Keeton

Mrs. Easter Juanita Keeton, 92, of Florence, passed away December 12, 2014 at Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home after an extended illness. She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Visitation will be held Sunday, December 14, 2014 from 1 – 2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Stan Dean officiating. Burial will follow in Tri Cities Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will include Robert Keeton, David Jackson, Shane Stevenson, Matthew Carpenter, Brent Smith, and J.D. Grimes.

Mrs. Keeton was preceded in death by her husband, Dudley E. Keeton; parents, Lester and Ethel Cox Lovelace; brother, Felix “Buddy” Lovelace; sisters, Vivian Duncan, Louise Thomas, and Peggy Allen.

She is survived by her son, Dudley Leon Keeton (Frances); daughters, Donna Stevenson (Mike), Sondra Connolly (Paul) all of Florence; grandchildren, Robert “Buddy” Keeton (Rozy) of Northport, AL, Sheryl Jackson (David) of Brentwood, TN, Dr. M. Shane Stevenson (Laura) of Decatur, AL, Ashley Carpenter (Matthew) of Florence, Leah Smith (Brent) of Florence, Dr. Elyse Angel of Florence; great-grandchildren, Robbie Keeton of Fayette, MO, Leanne Keeton of Knoxville, TN, Danielle, Olivia, Elyse, and Madeline Jackson of Brentwood, TN, Callie and Beau Stevenson of Decatur, AL, Mattley Carpenter of Florence, Kinsley Smith of Florence; and five great-great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Lauderdale Christian Nursing Home.
