It is with a heavy heart that the family announces the passing of John L Taylor. A beloved son, brother, husband, father, and grandfather. Born in Atlanta, GA, he joined the Air Force and proudly served in exotic, Minot, ND. A long time FSU fan, duck decoy collector, and scouter, he will be missed by all who knew and loved his dry humor. He will be taken home to Alabama to be with his wife.
Visitation will be held Saturday, January 14, 2017 from 1:30-3:30 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. A graveside service will begin at 3:30 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Park with military honors. Officiating will be Marty Holt.
He is survived by his son, David Taylor (wife Cindi) and West Palm Beach, grandson, Benjamin Taylor; brother, Albert Taylor (wife Karen); sister, Barbara Jones (husband Tony); and many nephews and nieces.
