Imogene “Jean” Gist Wright, 75, of Florence, passed away June 5, 2017 at her residence.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 7, 2017 from 12-2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Tim Tubbs, Miles Stutts, and Tim Grigsby officiating. Entombment will follow in Greenview Memorial Park Love Mausoleum.
Mrs. Wright was preceded in death by her parents, Sam and Arlie Gist; sister, Bobbie Angel; brother, Terry Gist, and a nephew, Roger Angel.
She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 60 years, Aaron Wright of Florence; son, Steve Wright (Lisa) of Florence; daughter, Vicky Tubbs (Tim) of Killen; brothers, Don Gist (Marilyn), Allen Gist (Rhonda), and David Gist (Lynn); sister, Pat McAnally (David); special sister-in-law, Becky Gist; and grandchildren, Chad and Scott Tubbs, Savannah Wright, Misty Moody (Nick), and Haley Momic.
Pallbearers will be her nephews: Jordan , Jeremy, and Nick Gist, and Eric Angel; and grandsons, Chad and Scott Tubbs.
