Janis Shelton Brock, 69, of Columbia, TN, formerly of, Florence, Alabama passed away on January 17, 2017 at Maury Regional Hospital in Columbia, Tennessee. She retired as a school teacher at Brooks High School.
Visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home on Saturday, January 21, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be Sunday, January 22, 2017 in Greenview Memorial Chapel at 1:00 p.m.
She was preceded in death by her father, Warren Shelton.
Survivors include her spouse, John Brock of Columbia, TN; brother, Phillip Shelton; sister-in-law, Jane Shelton, both of LaFayette, GA; mother, Margaret Shelton of Columbia, TN; step-daughter, Melinda Brock Watson (Justin) of Columbia, TN.; nieces, Margaret Forester of LaFayette, GA and Julia Beckwith of Athens, GA; grandchildren, Mollie McKinzie and Webb Watson both of Columbia, Tennessee; great-nieces, Jessica and Cecilla Forester and great-nephews Shelton and Charles Forester all of LaFayette, GA.
