Helen Christine Holt, 75, of Florence, passed away on August 01, 2017 at Mitchell Hollingsworth. She was a member of Bethel Berry Church of Christ. She was a substitute teacher and a cafeteria worker at Cloverdale School.
Visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. The funeral service will be on Thursday, August 3, 2017 at 3:00 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Jerry Campbell and Donnie McDaniel officiating. Burial will follow in Cloverdale Church of Christ Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Holt; son, Tony Holt; mother, Lora Wesson and father, Paul Young.
Survivors include her sons, Wayne Holt (Jean), Kenny Holt (Regetta) and Ronnie Holt (Misty); daughter, Regina Risner (Phillip); sister, Margaret Ledford; grandchildren, Wesley and Tyler Risner, Britney Holt and Keoni Hanback; great-grandchildren, Bryce, Seth and Maddie Risner; special nieces, Vicki Phillips, Donna Nard and Tanya Lawson and many other nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Risner, Mike Jones, Jerry McDaniel, Roy Lee Atkinson, Roy Abston and Grady Stutts.
Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Wesley Risner and Keoni Hanback.
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Felix Morris and staff and all the staff at Mitchell Hollingsworth for their love and special care to our mother.
