Harriet was one of my friends from East High. Even though we saw each other only a few times since high school; we were always able to pick right up where we left off! We talked about the joys of motherhood and how much our kids meant to us. We even laughed over Little League stories!
I loved her! She was smart, savvy, and oh so funny. I will pray that your family finds peace and comfort.
May God continue to hold his arms around Harriet!

I am so sorry for your loss, and my thoughts are with you Craig, Sam and John. We will miss her too. I picture her now with Aunt Nan, Granny, and Aunt Anna Fay sitting on a patio somewhere and having coffee.

Craig, Sam and John:
Aunt Harriet always had such a way of lighting up a room. She was funny and smart and seemed to have enough joy to fill up another 64 years. I have always admired her. I’m sorry for your loss, but I’m happy that she always had your love. She was so proud of you both, Sam and John, rightfully so, she just glowed talking about you! Let go of that leukemia and hold onto her joy. You all will be in my thoughts. Love, Katie

Please accept my condolences during this time of distress. While it is indeed sad that you are mourning the loss of your dear Harriet, it saddens God more. In the days ahead, you will reflect on her seemingly small, yet precious memories. However, take comfort in knowing that just as you have memories, almighty God remembers too. The difference is, unlike humans, God has the ability to restore perfect life on earth to those in His memory as expressed in the faith strengthening video Below:
