Greer Marise (Murray) Slade

Greer Marise Murray Slade, 70, of Florence, passed away March 13, 2018. She was a 1965 graduate of Coffee High School and a graduate of the University of North Alabama.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 16, 2018 from 2-4 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home.

Mrs. Slade was preceded in death by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Blevins, and Mr. and Mrs. John Robert Murray, Sr.; parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Robert Murray, Jr.; and a brother, David Murray.

She is survived by her daughter, Lori Slade Wade (Rife) of Killen; brother, John Robert Murray, III (Betsy) of Trussville, AL; sister, Charlie Stoddard (Jimmy) of Florence; sister-in-law, Vicki Murray of Grace, MS; and a granddaughter, Kelsey Wade of Killen; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association or to a charity of your choice.
