George Edwin McFall

George Edwin McFall, 87, of Florence, passed away on February 20, 2018 at his residence. He was a member of Sherrod Avenue Church of Christ. He retired as a letter carrier through the United States Post office and served in the United States Navy.

Visitation will be on Thursday, February 22, 2018 from 9-11 a.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 11:00 a.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Kenny Barfield officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anne Guthrie McFall; parents, James and Louise McFall and brothers, James O. McFall and Bill McFall.

Survivors include his wife, Gertrude “Trudy” McFall; son, Charles McFall (Lauri); daughters, Kim Dickerson (Davis) and Becky Soler (Victor); brother, Bob McFall; sisters, Elizabeth Shores, Sarah Bryant, Virginia West and Martha Rhodes; brothers-in-law, Jim Guthrie, Lowell Guthrie, Winston Guthrie and Marshall Guthrie; grandchildren, Brad and Will McFall and Drew and Austin Dickerson and several nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Drew Dickerson, Austin Dickerson, Jeff Rhodes, Steve Rhodes, Will McFall and Victor Soler.
