Freida Ann Harrison

Freida Ann Harrison, 82, of Florence, passed peacefully from this world surrounded by family on Sunday, May 01, 2016 at Mitchell-Hollingsworth Annex in Florence, Alabama.  She was a member of Highland Baptist Church and she was a graduate of Deshler High School in 1952.

Visitation will be on Wednesday, May 4, 2016 from 10 a.m. – Noon at Greenview Funeral Home.  The funeral service will begin at 12:00 Noon in Greenview Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Chris Underwood officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.

She was preceded in death by her parents, James Buel Hanna and Lillie Mae Thompson and most recently her dearly departed brother, James Hanna.

Survivors include her husband, Kenneth Joe Harrison, Sr.; sons, Kenneth Joe Harrison, Jr., (Beverly) and James Gregory Harrison; daughter, Sherri Jan Harrison; grandchildren, Kenneth Harrison III, Michael Harrison, Emily Roper, Abigail Nichols and Riley Tennessen; great-grandchildren, Mason Partch and Cameron Roper.

Don McCullough, Tommy Harrison, Stephen Tucker, Lynn Newton, Billy Thompson and Michael Roberson will serve as pallbearers.

Tim Behel will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

The family would like to especially thank the nurses and caregivers on station four at Mitchell-Hollingsworth for caring for our wife and mother.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made to the Parkinson’s Disease Foundation at 1359 Broadway, Suite 1509, New York, NY 10018.
