Evelyn Louise Richardson, age 82, of Florence, died Monday, July 24, 2017, at Glenwood Health Care. Visitation will be held Friday, July 28, 2017, from 1 to 2 p.m. with family and friends at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Brother Perry Taylor and Brother Don McGuyer officiating. A private graveside service will follow at Oakhill Cemetery, St. Florian.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia Peeden Richardson, and father, Robert Jessie Richardson. She was a member of the Woodlawn Church of Christ and loved going to church until her declining health prevented her from attending. She was an avid reader having read the Bible through many times, working crossword puzzles, and growing flowers. She also liked to talk about her early childhood days at St. Florian school.
She is survived by cousins and special cousin and caregiver, Billy Richardson and wife, Frances.
Pallbearers will be William Richardson, Joe Berrens, David Berrens, Gerald O’Kelley, Greg Lowery, and Wayne Clemons.
Honorary pallbearer is Edward Behel.
