I was so sorry to hear about Mrs. Brust's passing. Unfortunately, I was out of town and unable to attend her funeral. I did want to share that Mrs Brust was the departmental administrative assistant (or maybe secretary in those days) when I started teaching at UNA in l979. I cannot express how thoughtful and helpful she was, especially to a newbie. I will remember her always with fondness.

Mr. Brust, Nonnie, Debbie, Bill and family: Your dear mother was always so kind and sweet to me, even when I did not deserve it! I have such fond memories of summer evenings in the yard with your whole family, chasing lightning bugs, eating watermelon and homemade ice cream, and enjoying warm fellowship. Eddie Lee is in her mansion now and I bet she has run into my parents, H.L. and Joleen, on the great patio of life. May God grant you peace and comfort at this time of loss.

Was so sorry to hear about Eddie Lee's passing. Sarah and I were talking today about when Ms Eddie Lee took them to her house when my Dad was sick and how she pulled out all these old toys for them to play with. She says she is still fasinated with the train. The her making them toasted crackers with peanut butter and marshmallows.
