I always enjoyed working and being around Danny hadn't seen him in several years but I'll always remember his personality and a what a genuine person he was!

When I hired on at the railroad Danny was my Engineer while I trained. He took a lot of time with me and taught me a lot of stuff about the railroad and life. He will be missed by a lot of people including me.

Danie Garner was one of the finest men I have ever known. He loved his family deeply. He was so proud of the older ones and delighted in the little ones. He was a fine farmer and the most generous of people. He shared everything he grew beautifully. He loved the land, farming, his animals and of course, most of all, his family. I feel so very honored to call Danie and Vicki friends and neighbors. They sure make it easy to "love Thy neighbor"
