Cristina Danielle Silvers

Miss Cristina Danielle Silvers, 19, of Killen, passed away on January 30, 2016 at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. She was a United States Air Force, Airman First Class, stationed on Lackland Air Force Base in Security Forces.

“Crissy” had a smile, laugh and presence that would light up a whole room. She made a difference in the lives of everyone she came in contact with. She was an amazing person inside and out. You could always count on laughing when you were around her. She was the most fun-loving, outgoing, goofy, sweet, and precious young woman. Our lives will never be the same without her. She took a piece of us with her when she left us. She may be gone but she will never be forgotten.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 9, 2016 from 5 – 8 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at 11 a.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park with full military honors.

Miss Silvers was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Steven Trousdale; paternal grandparents, Jimmy Lee and Francis Silvers and her uncle, Tim Silvers.

Survivors include her mother, Stephanie Darby (Shane); father, Shane Silvers (Sharon); sisters, Courtney Silvers (Austin) of Arizona, Cassi Houston of Killen, Angelina Silvers and Shelby Silvers both of Arizona, Raven Kirkland (Jarome) of Tupelo; dearest friend and roommate, Crislyn Altazan of Lackland AirForce Base, Texas; maternal grandmother, Sandy Gann (Duane) of Tueplo, MS and numerous, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Members of the United States Air Force will serve as pallbearers.

Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Houston Joiner, Augie Coffman, Howard Coffman and Austin Bailes.
