Christine Jennings Burns, 75, of Florence, passed away June 23, 2015 at Glenwood Healthcare Center. She was a member of Shoals Home Builder’s Association, and retired from the City of Florence Building Department.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 27, 2015 from 10 – 11 a.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. A graveside memorial service will follow in Greenview Memorial Park at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Chris Underwood officiating.
Mrs. Burns was preceded in death by her daughter, Laurie Burns Franks; parents, Gerald and Florence Jennings.
She is survived by her sister, Marion Howard of London England; grandchildren, Kace and Allison Franks both of Florence; niece, Julie Hurst of New Zealand; nephew, Martin Howard of London, England; special friend, Tom Harper.
Honorary pallbearers: Matt Blackburn and Tom Harper.
