“Ma”, as everyone called her, loved staying active in the community, visiting with friends and family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her great grandchildren. She stayed busy tending to all of her pets she “inherited” through the years, especially her Boston Terrier, Betty Sue. She was a great cook and enjoyed reading and collecting cookbooks; always searching for a new recipe to try out. Many requests were made for her coconut cake and chess pie. She was loved by so many and will be greatly missed.
Serving as Pallbearers will be Rob Hayes, Chris Carden, Ricky Hudson, Dalton Craig, Jimmy Medley, and Jeff Stutts.
Honorary Pallbearers are Carl Rich, Robert Huffaker, and Sawyer Carden.
The family would like to thank the staff at Florence Nursing and Rehabilitation, Dr. Lyman Mitchell, Dr. Edsel Holden, Dr. Therese Lango, and all the nurses and staff at ECM who cared for her in her final days.
