Carson Ray Stapleton, 73, of Florence passed away on October 22, 2016 at his residence. He was a member of Lighthouse Apostolic Church, retired from Chrysler Motors, and a US Army veteran.
A memorial service will be held October 27, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Lighthouse Apostolic Church.
He was preceded in death by his father, Hudson Stapleton; mother, Sara Hyden Stapleton; sister, Gladys Stapleton Alexander and brother, Kenneth Hyden.
Survivors include his sons, Duane Stapleton (Patricia) of Cloverdale, AL and Michael Stapleton of Lapine, AL; daughter, Robyn Hayes (Kevin) of Sheffield, AL; sister, Ruth Stapleton Spooner of Angier, NC and grandchildren, Brandon Stapleton of Cloverdale, AL, Christian Stapleton of Athens, AL, Tristin, Raven and Ryan Lynn Stapleton all of Toledo, Ohio, Ashlie Preister of Huntsville, AL and River Campbell of Adrian, MI.
Dad you passed from this world unto a glorious one. We will miss you for as long as we’re here on this earth without you; until we meet again in that glorious city our Lord and Savior has prepared for us! We love you, Duane, Patricia, and Brandon.
