Carol Pickens Mangum, 90, of Florence, passed away on October 20, 2016 at Mitchell-Hollingsworth. She attended Woodmont Baptist Church and was a member of Barbara Marcues Class.
Visitation will be at Greenview Funeral Home from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 23, 2016. The funeral service will begin at 2:00 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Bro. Jerry Rea officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Harvey C. and Lily Opal Pickens and brother, Bob Pickens.
Survivors include her husband, James W. “Bill” Mangum; sons, Jim Mangum and Sam Mangum (Patti); daughter, Caroline Moore (Robert) all of Florence; sister-in-law, Sandra Pickens of Hartselle; grandchildren, Tom Mangum(Lindsey), Kyle Mangum (Jessica), Anna Lea Moore and Mick and Jack Mangum; great grandchildren, William and Grayson Mangum and nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tom Mangum, Kyle Mangum, Mick Mangum, Jack Mangum, William Roby and Lewis Hairell.
