Bobby Heaul Givens

Bobby Yeaul Givens, 80, of Florence, passed away April 12, 2018 after an extended illness. He was retired from Reynolds Metals; and was a lifelong member of the Painters Local 1293 Muscle Shoals IUPAT DC 77.

Visitation will be Sunday, April 15, 2018 from 12:30-2 p.m. at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Donnie McDaniel and Brian Givens (grandson) officiating. Burial will follow in Jesse’s Garden Cemetery.

Mr. Givens was preceded in death by his father, Herbert Alvin Givens; mother, Callie Jones Givens; brothers, Kenneth and Denzel Givens; sister, Thalia Givens Roberson, and daughter-in-law, Rhonda.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Ola Larvinia Thrasher Givens; sons, Stanley (Sharon), Randy , Sammy (Betty), James (Lisa), Andy (Kathy); brother, Eugene Givens; sisters, Dolly Givens Hendricks, Betty Givens Morgan; and Shirley Givens Norred; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
