Bennie Ladon Belcher, 74, of Florence, passed away on July 11, 2017 at his residence. He was a United States Army veteran.
Visitation will be Friday, July 14, 2017 at Greenview Funeral Home from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. The funeral service will begin at 4:00 p.m. in Greenview Memorial Chapel with Pastor Tom Daniels officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park with military honors.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ben Belcher and Frankie Fowler Belcher; brother, Floyd Belcher; daughter, Sherry Tays; granddaughter, Angela Matthews and grandson, Dustin Tays.
Survivors include his wife, Doris Sharp Belcher; sons, Mike Belcher (Tonia) and Bennie Belcher(Monique); daughter, Janet Phillips (Mike) ; sister, Judy Liles (Danny) all of Florence; brother, Tom Belcher (Shelia) of Huntsville, AL; grandchildren, Bennie Pigg (Megan), Brodie, Anna Claire, Joseph, Cain and Maggie Belcher, Rachel and Ruby Phillips all of Florence; great-grandchildren, Caraline Pigg and Carson Tays.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mike Belcher, Bennie Belcher, Tom Belcher, Bennie Pigg, Joseph Belcher and Cain Belcher.
