Barbara K. Gauntt passed away on October 4, 2017. She was born and raised in Haleyville, Al. She retired from financial business after 30 years of service. She was a member of North Wood United Methodist Church.
Visitation will be at North Wood United Methodist Church from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 07, 2017. The funeral will begin at 11:00 a.m. at North Wood United Methodist Church with Rev. Scott Coats officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Grady Gauntt; sister, Sue Steinberg; father, Talmadge Knight and mother, Gladys Knight.
She is survived by her son, Keith Gauntt of Huntsville, AL; brother, Talmadge Knight Jr., of Saluda, South Carolina and special friend, Judy Nash.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to North Wood United Methodist Church or the American Cancer Society or to the American Heart Association.
