Barbara June Murphy Springer Aderholt, 85, of Florence, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 17, 2016. Visitation will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Monday, September 19, 2016, at Greenview Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Dale Boren and Bill Bagents officiating. Burial will follow in Greenview Memorial Park.
Barbara was a resident of Florence Nursing and Rehabilitation Center and a member of Florence Boulevard Church of Christ. She was an LPN and a former employee of K-Mart. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Kelmer Lavern Springer; parents, Gladys Murphy Parker and William Blain Murphy; and brother, William Herbert Murphy.
Barbara is survived by her husband, Cleburn Aderholt; brother, Jimmie (Jim) Ray Murphy (Mary Lou); children, Judy Springer Chunn (Stephen) and Larry Springer (Cyndi); step-children, Rhonda Aderholt Goins (Mike) and Cindy Aderholt Woods (Robert); four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Mike Goins, Steve Chunn, Kevin Chunn, Robbie Goins, Anthony Thomas, and Buddy Smith.
The family would like to thank Florence Nursing & Rehabilitation Center and Gentiva Hospice for their love and care of Mrs. Aderholt.
