Audrey Killen Floyd (age 89), Florence, Ala., passed away peacefully at her home on July 29th. She was preceded in death by her husband , Dr. Harold “Gyp” Floyd, Jr.; parents, Dallas and Ann Killen; sister, Jo Helen Killen Gist; and brother, Jack Killen. She is survived by her children, Debbie, Pam, and Joe, Florence, Ala; brother-in-law, James Gist, Sr., Alpharetta, GA; cousin, Jerry Owens (Janie), Lawrenceburg, TN; nephews, Jimmy, John, David,; dear friends and her beloved four-legged babies. If the value of a person were to be measured by the love of their family, she was worth far more than earthly gold. Her family was her life’s passion and she was cherished by all who ever knew her.
Per her request, a private family graveside service was held on July 30, 2015 at 9 a.m. in Greenview Memorial Park.
