I am just now learning of my dear sweet friend of passing from this life. I so enjoyed our visits. She was always sharing recipes and what she has bought on QVC. When Debbie would come up, they never stayed home and was always off to some sort of adventure. I'd go over to see what they had been up to and they'd share all the bargains they had found. They would also get into some kind of craft. I remember Ruth crocheting me red trim on a pair of black gloves and making me eyelash scarfs. One birthday she surprised me with a suit of satin pajamas, she had made, all trimmed in the dainties lace. I still have them, hanging in my closet. The last time I saw her was about 5 years ago? I found her sitting in her car watching the Christmas Parade, her grandson had driven her (can't remember his name, but he's the grandson of Debbie). I will miss my friend. Rest in peace sweet Alice Ruth Kelley Collins, I love you, Lyla McCrory Johnson

Aunt Ruth was always so sweet to me. I cherished her as my favorite aunt, I hate that since I have gotten older I haven't seen her that often, but we talked on the phone lots. She will truly be missed by me. Love you Debbie, Ricky and Kenny. Wish our family could all be closer.
