Agnes Marie Sykes, 90, of Florence, passed away May 25, 2016 at El Reposo Nursing Home. She was a member of Stony Point Church of Christ.
The funeral service will be held Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at 11 a.m. at Stony Point Church of Christ with Brad Adcock officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery.
Mrs. Sykes was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Sykes; sisters, Mary McCarley, Ruby Bingham, and Eva Thrasher; and her parents, Huron and Ellen Thrasher.
She is survived by her niece, Dixie DeSanctis (Ralph); and several cousins.
Active pallbearers will be Ed Thrasher, Ralph DeSanctis, Nick DeSanctis, Matt DeSanctis, Malcolm Wilkes, and Billy Dickson.
Faye “Sam” Mize and Dickey Howard will serve as honorary pallbearers
